Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes what data Orbit Tap (Android) collects, how it is used, and your choices. The app is published by Zynvas, an independent software studio based in Spain.

Data we collect
Orbit Tap is designed to collect as little data as possible. The data we do collect is necessary for the global and country-based leaderboard.
| Data point | When collected | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anonymous user ID (UUID) | First time the leaderboard is opened or a score is submitted | Supabase (our backend) | Identifies your scores across sessions on the same install. No real identity is attached to it. |
Auto-generated nickname (e.g. flux_4382) | Same as above | Supabase | Displayed next to your score on the leaderboard. |
Country code (ISO-3166 alpha-2, e.g. ES) | Same as above, derived from your device's locale | Supabase | Powers the country-specific leaderboard tab. |
| Score, max combo, palette index, timestamp | Each time a game ends with score > 0 | Supabase | Powers the leaderboard. |
We do not collect:
- Your real name, email, phone number, address.
- Your IP address (Supabase logs may transiently retain it for abuse prevention; we do not store it ourselves).
- Your device identifiers (IMEI, MAC). The Android Advertising ID is collected only by Google AdMob to serve interstitial ads — see "Advertising" below.
- Your contacts, photos, location (precise GPS), microphone, or camera.
- Any analytics SDKs or third-party tracking beyond AdMob's standard ad measurement.
How the data is used
The data is used solely to display the leaderboard inside the app. It is not sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for any commercial purpose other than running the app itself.
Backend storage is provided by Supabase, which acts as our processor. Their privacy policy applies to the way they handle the data: supabase.com/privacy.
Advertising
Orbit Tap shows occasional interstitial ads between game-overs (one ad every third loss, with a minimum 90-second cooldown), served by Google AdMob.
| Data point | When collected | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Android Advertising ID (AAID) | When an ad is requested | Google AdMob | Frequency capping, basic ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Coarse network info (IP-derived country, connection type) | When an ad is requested | Google AdMob | Selecting an ad relevant to your region and network |
| Standard ad event signals (impression, click, view duration) | When an ad is shown | Google AdMob | Measuring ad performance and billing advertisers |
Google may use this data to personalise ads under your control. Their privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy. AdMob publisher details: support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland: GDPR consent
The first time the app starts in a region where GDPR (or equivalent) applies, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show a consent dialog. Your choice — accept all, manage individual purposes, or refuse — is stored on your device as an IAB Transparency & Consent Framework string and sent to AdMob with every ad request.
If you opt out of personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored using your Advertising ID.
Resetting or deleting your Advertising ID
You can reset (or delete) your Android Advertising ID at any time: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID (or Delete advertising ID on Android 12+). After a reset, the previous identifier cannot be associated with you.
Data retention
Scores and profile rows are kept indefinitely so the leaderboard remains historically meaningful.
Your choices
- Skip the leaderboard entirely: never tap the
LEADERBOARDbutton. The app remains fully playable; nothing is sent to our backend. - Delete your data: email hello@zynvas.com with the in-app nickname you want removed. We will delete the matching profile and all associated scores within 30 days.
Children
Orbit Tap is rated for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and a notice will appear on the app's store listing.
